What this tool does to your file

Removing a page here is a change to the document's page tree rather than a re-render: the pages that stay are the same objects they always were, so selectable text, links and form fields all survive, and page sizes are untouched. Your file is read in your browser to draw the thumbnails, so the pages appear while the upload is still in progress and nothing has to be rendered on a server for you to see them. Click a page to mark it and click again to keep it: marked pages grey out, so you can see what you are about to lose before you commit to it. Pages are removed from the back of the document forwards, which is what keeps the numbers you selected against meaning the same thing at the moment each page goes. At least one page has to stay behind, because a PDF with no pages is not a document anything can open, so a selection covering the whole file is refused rather than producing one. One file per job.
